I have always been interested in photography. It's a very easy way to express your creativity. You can capture so many different emotions in just one shot. There are so many styles of photography to choose from. But, one of the most interesting types of photography is lomography. Lomography is more of a conceptual photography. It's not so different from any other camera or camera shots. However, it just gives a different approach to objects and images when compared to taking pictures using the newest digital cameras.
A lomographic picture appears unfocused and amateur. The importance of lomography is on the imperfect side of the image or the shot. Most of the newest digital cameras clearly capture the whole image or the whole object along with its background. In lomography, spontaneity and motion-blurring are the keys. I saw so many lomography photographs when I made an online search and the pictures were so creative and so unique.
I have learned from the online search that you can even change the lens color. This would enable you to have a certain color theme in your image shot or picture shot. The lomography camera is also not so hard to use. It's just like any other camera. But, you can do so much more in a lomography camera. So, if you want different image effects with your photography, I suggest that you try out lomography.

Perhaps the most popular source of art inspiration is the human body, especially a woman's. There are statues, paintings, and even songs about how beautiful a woman's naked body is. So it's not a surprise if many photographers dedicate their craft to capturing the essence of the nudity of a woman. Take note, taking nude photos is different than pornography. Their difference, although very thin, is in the way you capture the photos, how you ask your model to pose, or if the photos were taken and done in bad taste.
If you take a naked photos of a woman with her tongue hanging out and with dildo in hand, well, that just may be porn. Taking nude pictures take real artistry. It is really hard to create the lighting of a location just to perfect the shot of the body's curves and, well, secrets.
It should be taken with care and with gentleness. Yes, the Venus of Milo wasn't done in a day. You can imagine how long it will take to really capture, pardon the cliche, the essence of woman. Anyway, take your camera and fulfill your erotic and naked fantasies in an elegant, may be profitable, way.

All of us have different inclinations when it comes to arts. I am particularly inclined with photography. I used to keep track of the important moments of my life through this valuable art form. Just like practically all aspects of life, photography itself has its own share of evolution. From the white and black photos to colored photos and to digital photos. One very important tool that you must keep with you is your camera. This is if you really want to capture the essential moments that happen around you. Photography is an effective way of preserving those moments. It does not take the whole world to do so.
One great thing about the digital photography, the latest craze in this particular field of art, is that it allows you to capture every moment in full control. With your advanced digital camera, you can enhance the settings, background, size, image quality, color, shape, and many others of your photo. You are indeed in total control. You can also delete badly taken pictures or edit them whatever the case maybe. Now, you can also store a number of photos for editing, enhancing, and printing purposes. Life can get better and so are your photos. Soon, we shall be amazed with the benefits of further developed digital photography.

Photography captures light on a film to produce image, so a source of light should be established before you begin taking any pictures. In the early days, man used sunlight as his source of illumination in photography. It was the only light source suitable for exposing slow films which was used during those times. Today films are much more sensitive to light and various light sources have been developed by photographer to enhance the effects of their work of art. These light sources include the following: tungsten lamps, tungsten-halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, and electronic flash.
Generally there are two types of light sources: daylight and artificial light. Daylight is a term used in photography that includes all forms of light that originates from the sun, not just direct sunlight. Skylight is different than sunlight. It appears bluer than sunlight because it is caused by the scatter of shorter wavelengths of light in the atmosphere. Artificial light is divided in to two types: spotlight and floodlights. Spotlights provide a concentrated beam of light to the subject while floodlights are give a more diffused and spread out light. By using accessories, such as deflectors, a photographer can control the light to provide different effects.

Visit http://www.deviantart.com/ if you are the photographic artist that needs every sort of inspiration when it comes to your digital art renderings. I wouldn't even call the site deviant." I guess no art is deviant if it spans an entire universe of possibilities.
In other words, you could manipulate your photos and use all kinds of textures and filters in your Photoshop-inspired caricatures of life. I've met them digital artists who wouldn't step back and flinch by the mere thought of artistic experimentation. These are the true-blue visual artists. You can see their works everywhere on the net.
However, there are some who wouldn't agree to have their works published on the net. If creating commercial digital art was any easier, you'd think they were doing it to protect their copyright. Alessandro Chiodo, who works for Dreamy Trips, has a technique that simply cuts off any plagiarist's attempt to copy-paste his masterpieces. If we could do the same, we can share to the whole world all the digital art we have created at no expense to our precious copyrights. For us who wish to see, we should respect these universal beauties as though they were our own garden with a sign that goes, "Keep off the grass."

It has been a while since my digital camera made some substantial shots. Last week, a friend of mine introduced me to a photographer known for his artistic takes. From nature to movie stars, the photo exhibit the photographer introduced was stunning.
It was breathtaking display of photos coupled with camera magic. I was wondering how the picture were taken. Ideas came across that the photos were indeed not taken by a digital camera. No matter what I think, I still have a hard time forgetting the beauty that was in front of my eyes.

As I've said before, you have to learn the elements of design. Given here are my research about the basics of the first two elements, line and shape.
LINE - it's the things in your photo that have edges that seem to become lines. Railroad tracks, edges of a structure or tree lines. The horizon is the best example of a line. Lines don't really need to be straight. Just choose the best angle where you could use lines to place direction towards the subject of your picture.
SHAPE - The most common shape is the circle as it can be found on arched bridges and doorways, plus, nature has lots of circle-shaped elements in it. Shapes appear to have two dimensions. Shapes can be also in the form of a wave, triangle or square. They usually complement the other elements of photography designs.

Recently, several artworks were posted in an internet web site. All I know is that the masterpieces were done out of hands. To my surprise, I read the disclaimer informing that the works were taken by a good digital camera. I was guessing how it was done considering the quality of takes showcased in the website.
More important though is my observation that technology and art perfectly complement each other. The digital cameras used to take the pictures were able to capture Nature at work. Undeniably, the efforts done by the photographers deserve high commendations.

Here are the last two elements of design that you should take note of in photography are space and value.
Space is the part of your picture that doesn't have anything on it. It's the unoccupied region of the photograph. This depicts three-dimensionality in your professional photos. Basically, it's also the space between things in your picture.
Value is the lightness and darkness of your photo. This aspect can be used to emphasize the certain aspects of the object of your photo.

In this entry, we will discuss another two elements of design that I've researched about -- form and texture.
The form is least used in photography because it is mostly used in three-dimensional things. Form can depict feelings in your pictures. Form shows edge, indentation, bulge and curve.
Texture is obviously the feel of the photograph. Your two eyes can recognize whether an object is rough or smooth. Proper lighting and camera-use can help achieve this effect in your own photo shot which may add appeal to your photographs.

 Photography is a passion.
Like most arts are, photography is always changing. Trends differ from time to time and there are always new techniques that come up when you take a picture. It is a constant study. Old and new styles are sometimes incorporated for a better picture. Movements, light, colors and a good camera are essential in getting a good picture. Plus, timing always helps. Everybody can take a picture but not all can capture the essentials. If the talent's not innate, it's good to always pr actice.

Art in many form is very hard to achieve, or is very hard to appreciate.
Art in photography is difficult to achieve. It is suggested that you first learn the Elements of Design. If you know about this, then it won't be hard for you to capture, with your camera, beauty in its true form. Although photography art is mostly based on moments or poses, applying some technical skill won't hurt your photos.
The elements of design are six, namely, line, shape, form, space, value, and texture. These elements are also mostly used in architecture and interior design.

If you have old photos that you need to restore, try using software that will help you improve them. Just scan them on your PC and edit on your software. Basically you can crop it, change the hues, and eliminate the red-eye. Some complex things you can do is to put on special effects on it, like turn it into a black and white picture or even like an oil-painting. These softwares can change the sharpness and shapes of your photos. Even more complex editing you can do is to crop an object in the picture and put in another background, also you can rid your pictures with blemishes. You can make yourself look handsome in that old high school photo (the one where your face is filled with acne) by erasing or covering it up with the wide range of color palettes available
