The American Baby Contest is the biggest and most exciting national baby contest in America and the world. It was established in 1995 in Spring Hill, Florida by a group of parents who wanted to establish a reputable photo contest for babies that would stand out among the rest. The contest is open to children from
newborn babies up to the age of 9. Since it started in October 1995, the contest has awarded more than 1,500 cute baby photos of children all over America.
The contest is held quarterly and the judging occurs every last day of the months of February, May, August, and November. The judges are composed of a group of parents, sometimes three or four, who have a keen
eye for beauty. They will be the ones who will judge each photo submitted for the contest. The judging usually takes a couple of days before the judges finally decide. There are as much as forty-five winners every quarter. The categories apart from the First Place Award include, Cutest Smile, Best Expression, Most Charming, and so on. The winners will take home cash prizes, framed photo of the winner, certificate, and the opportunity to be seen in
baby magazines and websites.
