I've always enjoyed reading National Geographic Magazines. I love the articles because they're very informative. But I love the creatively shot photos more. I enjoy that the photos for National Geographic are all moving, they speak an unwritten language. The photos immediately give you emotions of sadness, happiness, pity or fear. Some are unusual, some are hard-to-capture and some are really extreme.

No wonder National Geographic's Awards for Best Photos are the most coveted of awards for photographers. In this contest, it's pure competition and talent. If you're thinking of joining, start studying and practicing now.
