I always appreciated underwater photography ever since I learned that such an art exists. As a matter of fact, I consider underwater cameras as the coolest stuff on earth, next to cannibals, suicide notes, hired killers, and death threats. I've seen some magnificent photos taken under the deepest parts of the Pacific Ocean as well as the Arctic Ocean, and most of them are taken by the artistic photographers of the National Geographic Channel
I'm a frustrated photographer, and my attempts with taking shots of sea animals, corals, and plants always end up to varying levels of disaster. I'm not much of a swimmer, you see, and I don't know what
scuba diving gears are for. Thus, people (mostly, my friends and family) think I'm documenting my suicide attempt every time I try photography below the sea.
I've seen a website that offers tutorials for this certain type of photography. They call it theunderwaterphotography.com, and the
online instructors will teach you loads of things about the most complicated side of photography and how to make it look like a piece of cake. For the six-month crash course, you'll learn everything about the do's and don'ts of taking pictures under the sea for less than $50 as tuition fee. As for me, I think I need to study scuba diving first before enrolling in this class.
