If you're anxious about the hassle of turning your computer on and setting up your printer, then you should let go of that anxiety because the new Canon photo printer is here. It's especially designed for your photos. You can use it without using your computer, so it's easier and quicker. It's really the photo printer on the go because it allows automatic printing via your bluetooth digicam or your family Canon camcorder.
This canon photo printer includes several high-tech features that allow you to print that precious moment into a clear and crisp photo. These features also give professional quality printing. It develops your photos directly from Pictbridge compatible digicams, video cams, or mobile phones. It has a resolution of 300 X 300 dpi. It uses a dye-sublimation thermal point print method. It has a 1.5” LCD screen, a built-in card reader, bluetooth adapters, and lithium-ion battery.
I've always wanted a convenient and fast printer for my photos. I'm a photographer who used to manually develop films in my dark room. But, as technology evolves I know I have to go with it. So I purchased a new photo printer that doesn't need a computer. Using this photo printer is like manually developing a film. The big difference is the former automatically works on its own, while the latter needs my full effort to set up, mix chemicals, and dry the photos. With Canon Selphy CP-710, my photo life has been perfect.

If you want the a photo masterpiece, the best source is nature. There is nothing more beautiful, more enchanting, more original, and more natural than nature subjects. It offers a wide and unique variety of photography objects that you can capture anytime you want sans the hassle of photo manipulation and technological enhancements. You just have to know the best places and best subjects for you to experience the magic of nature photography.
The recently held AMS 2006 amateur photography contest had more than 125 entries that came from the different states of America. The contest was for the benefit of Make-a-Wish Foundation that's stationed in Utah. Some local companies sponsored the contest and its prizes. The contest had its short list of the 10 best photos among the overwhelming entries. This contest just proved that people still appreciate the beauty of nature.
Capture life by using your camera and your photography skills. You can collect those photos and store them in your elegant looking laptop so that you will be able to compile them for your portfolio. Take a picture of an old church near you or your backyard tree. You can choose anything from your surrounding as your subject. If you're a traveler shoot those unique places and unique things that can only be found from that place. Take your best shot and ace that photography contest.

They say an art is created during our deepest moments. For instance, you can write poetry if you are depressed or you can create a Van Gough painting when you are lonely. Is this because the world is naturally depressing that's why we find it easy to express ourselves during these moments? If it is so, how sad. Maybe, my idea's right. Our world is naturally depressing because of the recent events in the Middle East.

What is an art without reality? Don't we get our ideas from the real life? So, here it is now! The war, the bombings, the killings, death, violence, and suffering. All is available for your camera. Capture the moment while it is there (though I bet it will stay for ever). Why look for other photography objects? Live the moment and take a photo of those blood splatters and wrecked buildings. This is a good shoot, man!

Put some art on your photography. Shoot live blood splatters to make it more artistic at the same time realistic. Or, you can go to Lebanon and shoot those dead children lying on the ground. This would be a great masterpiece of massacre. They are dead now, so they won't see the world anymore. The least thing you can do for them is to put them in your photo artwork. This way, everyone will remember the life they have lived just for nothing.

Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be a photographer. I knew it because I would always borrow my grandfather's camera. Do you remember that old and classic camera that gives you the photo minutes after shooting? I don't remember what it was called but I remember it being big and had an automatic printer in it. So, I went to college and got my photography degree. This is how I became a professional photographer.

Recently I got my new FinePix S5600 Fuji camera. I painstakingly saved for it just to purchase one because it's my dream camera. It has a compact body and it has a Super CCD HR sensor that enables me to capture life and preserve it in the best photo quality ever. I'm really satisfied with this Fuji camera because I can control it automatically or manually. It has a 10x Fujinon lens that I can zoom. Lastly, it has 1600 ISO setting that prevents blurs.

When I went to Hannover for an urgent reason I didn't bring so much baggage. I just made sure that I brought my personal kit and underwear collection. I couldn't remember why I was in a hurry save for the urgent call that my sister made. When I saw the palatial infrastructures of Germany, I suddenly remembered my camera. Damn! I left it. How sad and frustrating because I really wanted to capture Gemany's beauty. Well, at least I had my mobile phone's camera.

Night photography is quite complicated than day photography. The primary reason is the inefficient light during night time because of the absence of sun. Shooting under the sun is another story, and night photographs have a more elegant appeal than day photos because of the dark shade that emphasizes the colors. The graceful flow of colors in night photos captivates the eyes. If there is added little artistry in it, the photo will become an artistic digital art.

Any camera can be used in night photography. However, you need a more advanced camera if you want to express your artistic side through night pictures. Night photography needs a camera that has B or bulb manual exposure and a tripod to prevent shakes. Be sure that you set the proper exposure to be able to capture a fantastic moment. Set your digital camera in a long exposure up to thirty (30) seconds, and your ready to click that button!

Nope! You don't need expensive digital cameras nor expensive photography gadgets just to shoot like a pro. All you need is a sense of style and creativity. You can shoot anything under the moonlight like the lamp post in your street or your backyard pine tree. If you travel a lot (like me who love Paris evening escapades), you can spot a unique object from that place and experiment on how to make it dazzling in your photo.

Most people --- including me --- think that tripods are only for professional photographers. Professional photographers are those who are shooting wild giraffes through 4-foot-long lenses, with tripods huge enough to block a charging elephant. But amateur photographers like us need to experience the power of tripods on shooting different images. It is great to have a tripod handy if you are using slow shutter speeds or you want to add some blurry style on your subject image.

Sony VCT-R640 Lightweight Tripod is one of those three-legged tools that we can use to achieve the sharpness and brilliance that we want our pictures to possess. It can support and handle any of your video gadgets like digital cameras, SLRs, digital video recorders, and video cameras. This tripod is neither large nor heavy unlike other products in the market that can qualify as deadly weapons. Sony Tripod is durable, but it's lightweight so you can bring it anywhere without worrying about FBI agents hunting you.
Monday, April 30. 2007
Another plus factor of the Sony tripod is that you can fold it and place it neatly in its pouch, which makes it easier for travel. I've been using this model for three months now, and it hasn't failed in helping my digital cameras in producing aesthetic photos. I've got another tripod, but it's too heavy (you can actually pump your muscles with it), that's why I gave it to my brother who is a weightlifter.

It is my personal belief that photo developing centers are in direct cahoots with bacteriologists. All down the rows of rooms, you can hear the sad moans and angry wails of people confronted with their own pictures. I went directly to the photo booth, where the assistant, Sandy, insisted that we needed help, a whole new approach. As with all new image renovations, this one was to begin with cameras.
Saturday, April 28. 2007
I told Sandy that my camera was perfectly fine, but something's wrong with the pictures. "That's because you're not using a Sony filter," said the girl showing me a box of petri dishes. "This is the Sony VF-58CPKS. It will help protect your lenses against scratches, bacteria, dusts, grimes, and thumb marks. This will protect your lenses against damage, so you'll get pleasing image quality. Furthermore, it keeps away water and unwanted reflections on your lens," she added.
Friday, April 27. 2007
Sandy, who had perused my pictures to check the damage suggested that I should buy their Sony filters. "It's a good investment," she said. Did that mean that after five years the filters would become more valuable, and that one day I could pawn them in and retire? It did not. It meant that they were expensive--- they cost $86. I considered buying the filters and a new camera. Instead, I went down the street to a medical laboratory store and bought a box of petri dishes.

Choosing the perfect digital camera is as difficult as electing the perfect President. But cameras like the new Cyber-shot DSC-P200 from Sony cannot impose outrageous laws and drink mineral water. So, I think they're much better than the head of our State. The compact and durably built Sony camera is reasonably priced and easy to use. Its sleek and compact design allows it to fit comfortably in my hands. It 's packaged with the usable and modern features needed for ideal photography.

P200 is modestly priced at $349, and I think it's a good deal considering the features packaged with it.The controls located at the back part are easy to reach for the average-size thumb. Changing the camera settings and picture modes is a breeze with a few button presses. It is powered by a USB 2.0 which can transfer your images in less than a minute. On one charge, the camera which comes with a charger and batteries can provide over 400 shots, which is really impressive!
Tuesday, April 24. 2007
The P200 is a bit sluggish in taking flash photos. I also don't like its automatic focus feature because it is slow in locking on subjects. If you're a photographer who loves candid shots, then I suggest you choose another unit. You can check nine photos at once on its 2" Liquid Crystal Display screen. However deleting a single image requires tedious button pressing. Organizing your pictures is easy because you can make several folders via its Memory Stick. But you can't delete the folders within the camera.

I realized the impact of digital cameras on my eight-year-old niece, Kate, one evening when there was a dramatic comet shower. It's also my first time to see the heavens overflowing with shining and shimmering diamonds flying in a single direction. Pointing to the western sky, Kate said, "I wish we could click our cameras and save that." Afterall, comet shower doesn't happen all the time.
Actually we could, but the thing is, I forgot to bring our Olympus EVolt E-500 (thanks to my forgetful brain). This 8-megapixel camera provides over 15 photography modes ranging from the normal like portraits and landscape. It's body looks durable with the rubber grip that can fit comfortably in my hands. Owners of the EVolt definitely love the 2.5" Liquid Crystal Display with over 215,000 color pixels.
On the negative side, EVolt's body is a bit bulky and it's quite heavy. Hang around your neck and you'll feel like wearing a small bicycle wheel around your chest. Another gripe is that it is slow in saving the captured images, unlike other cameras where you can just click-and-save as much as you can. Another thing, the $900 price is quite high. People can already buy a sleek personal digital assistant with that price.

As innovative camera designs increasingly fill the market, most people probably care less for the disposable cameras stacked on the shelves. I still do. Call me nuts, but who cares? Without one, I would not have been in this very interesting and rewarding profession right now. I got my first cam when I was 7. It was a disposable one, yet it meant the world to me then.

I didn't quite understand why dad gave me one on my birthday. I was interested in other things then. Perhaps, it was simply meant as a toy. You know how kids like to try new things. But receiving the gift was life-changing because it awakened in me an interest for photography. Soon, I found myself taking shots on anything that caught my attention.
Friday, April 20. 2007
Yet as I grew up, I was asked to do more challenging tasks such as taking photos during birthday parties, baptisms, and even weddings. That was the time I decided to pursue photography. Just recently, I bought my newest digital Canon camera, an EOS 30D. Though I no longer find any need for using disposable cams, I'm glad they're still out on the shelves. My little girl celebrated her fifth birthday only 3 days ago. Guess what? I bought her a small and cute disposable cam as a gift.

If you're going to snag a new digital camera, pick one with the PictBridge capability. Pict-Bridge is the latest technology in printing and photography wherein you won't be needing a desktop or laptop computer to print pictures from your camera. Just connect the USB cable from your digital cam to your printer and you can print glossy photos without batting an eyelash.
HP Photosmart R717 is an example of a camera with the PictBridge technology. I like this camera because it gives me a wide selection of photography modes like portrait and action. This camera is also highly ideal for spies and secret agents because of the picture mode called Museum wherein it shuts its usual flashes and clicking sounds so you can take all the shots you want anonymously.
The body is rubberized with a slick metal finish, which makes the camera a beauty on its own. For neophytes, you won't be needing a Dummies book or Idiot's guide to use the R717 because it has a well-detailed manual that you can read and follow until your eyeballs fall out. Expert's tip: Use an HP Photomart printer to print your pictures. Most of the printers in this series are equipped with the PictBridge technology.
